How do I know if I meet the job posting criteria?
Each posting outlines the specific education and experience requirements for the job. You should take a moment to review the stated qualifications and analyze them against your resume. This will help you to determine whether to submit your application.
How do I apply for employment with Servus Credit Union?
Applications can be emailed, mailed or handed in. You must include both your resume and cover letter quoting the position and competition number for which you are applying.
We require all candidates to fill out an application form in order to conduct a Credit Bureau check. Please attach the application form to your cover letter and resume.
Will I receive confirmation of receipt after submitting my resume?
All applications are considered once submitted; however, due to the high volume of resumes, only those received via e-mail receive an automatic confirmation of receipt.
How long will my resume stay on file?
Your resume will stay on file for a period of three months.
How will I know if my resume is being considered for a position?
If your application meets the minimum requirements of the position it will be reviewed. Due to the high volume of applications, only short listed candidates will be contacted.
Can I update information on a resume I have already submitted?
Please resubmit your resume as positions open up. This ensures that we always have your most recent resume on file.
What is Servus Credit Union's general recruitment process?
Once resumes are received, they are all reviewed against the minimum requirements.
- Short-listed candidates are contacted by the Human Resources Department or the hiring manager via telephone to set up an interview.
- Interviews are scheduled and undertaken.
- Background checks – education, credit, criminal - and references are conducted on candidates being considered for employment.
- Successful candidate is contacted.
